At least once in a lifetime, you shall feel you are no good at what you are doing currently. Comparing yourself to others who have transformed themselves into a beast, you are the same person as you were a few years back. You can develop yourself at something but never be perfect at it. Perfection can never be entirely acquired. When it comes to developing as a person you can’t use the adjective perfection to express your proficiency. The two thoughts that hinder your progress are:
False comparison:
The first thing you should do to attenuate the way you feel about yourself is to stop comparing yourself to the people who are behind you, if you do so you shall never think about attaining the knowledge you have never had. It leads to the feeling of satisfaction that restricts you to think about your advancement. Compare yourself to a group who is doing better than you, you shall see the difference. The thinking between these groups is beyond your vision. If now you feel you are lacking with something, then you are going the right way.
Self-discovery:
Secondly, introduce yourself to the magic of self-discovery. Most people are unaware of the fact that self-discovery brings the best of you. There are a number of books and people who would guide you to the process of self-discovery. The journey of self-discovery is like no other journey you will ever experience. It is immensely satisfying and exciting to learn something about yourself that you have never learned before. Involve yourself with the activity that seduces you, that makes you forget all other things besides the only thing you have been working on.
Investing in yourself is the biggest investment in your life. Give more importance to yourself than the importance you give to things that are responsible for your downfall. Care about yourself more than you care about someone who never even thinks about you. The outcome of these practices is fruitful.
